How we hire

We hire infrequently and almost exclusively at senior practitioner levels. Our practice is built around small teams led by people who have been responsible for the work themselves before; we do not staff junior associates onto customer engagements.

When we have an opening, it is posted on this page. Hiring decisions are made by the team a candidate would be joining, in consultation with the firm's leadership.

What we look for

The common pattern across the people we have hired is depth in the work, accountability for outcomes, and the willingness to say a difficult thing to a customer when the engagement requires it. We do not screen on credential check-boxes; we screen on what people have actually done.

Process

Initial conversations are low-friction; substantive conversations are with the practice leads a candidate would work alongside. We compensate candidates for substantive on-site work-product exercises that exceed two hours. Reference conversations are direct and targeted; we do not accept pre-packaged reference statements.
